St. Joseph County is reporting 40 more positive coronavirus cases Monday as the total number now stands at 3,884 cases, according to statistics posted by the Indiana State Department of Health.
The county also is reporting 85 deaths, according to the state records.
The county is reporting the seven-day average number of cases at 50. There are 731 active cases of COVID-19 in the county.
Meanwhile, Elkhart County is reporting 5,153 active cases on Monday, with 92 deaths. LaPorte County has 1,010 positive cases with 30 reported deaths, while Marshall County has 814 positive cases with 23 deaths.
Statewide, there are now more than 81,000 positive cases, with 603 new cases reported on Monday, bringing the total number to 81,006. There were two deaths reported Monday, as the number of coronavirus deaths statewide now stands at 2,926.
