The University of Saint Francis launched its Virtual Campus this semester with two degrees that can be earned entirely online.
The school has offered online courses before, but the master of business administration and registered nurse to bachelor of science in nursing degrees are the first that allow for solely online learning.
Each of the degrees is a 12-month program. A total of 35 students have enrolled in the introductory term.
The university plans to add more accelerated programs to the Virtual Campus to attract adult learners who already have some college credit and are looking to finish a degree.
The programs are designed with a competitive pricing structure and a process to get credit for prior learning to make them an attractive option for adults balancing work and family obligations.
