SOUTH BEND - Facing budget cuts and rising gasoline prices, the St. Joseph County Public Library's Readmobile won't be making its usual rounds to local parks and lunch sites this summer.
The Readmobile, a recreational vehicle, is a colorful children's library on wheels that has operated since 1996. In the summer, the vehicle traditionally makes stops four days a week at South Bend parks and free lunch locations.
