Lafayette School Corp. officials said Monday they believe the nearly $2.2 million in state budget cuts directed at the district this year can be managed without any layoffs.

Superintendent Ed Eiler said administrators have targeted 20 areas for reductions that will add up to $1.52 million in 2010 and $630,000 in 2011.
