COLUMBUS — Columbus is collecting all gently-used or new eclipse glasses to donate them to educators and schools in other locations around the world to view the next solar eclipse.

Donated glasses must be free of punctures, scratches and bends, whether it be plastic or cardboard, and all donated glasses need to be in good shape.

The eclipse glasses may be dropped off between now and April 30 at the Columbus Visitors Center, Columbus Department of Public Works, Columbus Municipal Airport or any Columbus Fire Department station.
