10-county $917 million 'wish list' exceeds stimulus allotment

When the state asked for ideas earlier this year on how to spend its $4.3 billion share of federal stimulus funds, residents and officials in Tippecanoe and surrounding counties were more than happy to oblige.

Nearly 400 project ideas came from the 10-county area along with a price tag of more than $917 million.
