Allen County commissioners oppose casino, state panel hears

INDIANAPOLIS - The first meeting of a gambling study committee Monday was dominated by the financial difficulties experienced by the state's two racinos.

But several Fort Wayne speakers also testified against bringing a casino to the city and provided the bipartisan panel a letter from the Allen County commissioners taking a stand against a casino for the first time.
