Busse: SDI cut 1,050 jobs in a year

Fort Wayne-based Steel Dynamics cut about 1,050 jobs from a workforce of 6,850 in the past year, Chairman and CEO Keith Busse said Thursday. The cuts were made as the economy declined, but Busse said he didn't expect those jobs to be added back.
