Fort Wayne seeks stimulus loan for purchase of Renaissance Square

Fort Wayne leaders hope to use a new federal stimulus program to reduce the city's costs for buying Renaissance Square.

Mayor Tom Henry's administration is asking the City Council to designate the city as a recovery zone under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. This designation provides incentives for government and private businesses to borrow money.
