Ivy Tech enrollment at 100,000

Ivy Tech Community College reported Thursday its total statewide enrollment numbers surpassed 100,000 during the most recent semester - a first in the school's history.

Spring semester ended last week, and term enrollment figures show that 100,842 students attended the community college, said Kelly Lucas, an Ivy Tech spokeswoman. Ivy Tech has 23 full-service campuses throughout the state, including one in Fort Wayne. There are 75 additional shared community-learning sites across the state used by Ivy Tech.
