Local officials working to spread word about activities, attractions

Whether you agree or disagree with the young woman's opinion of Muncie, the response -- in answer to the question of what a visitor to the city should do -- is enough to dishearten local economic development officials.

"It's heartbreaking," said Elizabeth Rowray, vice president for technology advancement for the Muncie-Delaware County Economic Development Alliance. "This is such a great community, and there are many things to do for people of all walks of life."
