Printpack wins tax breaks for new plant in Monroe County

Printpack Inc. spent many weeks lobbying Monroe County for a 10-year, $2.8 million tax abatement.

On Tuesday night, the company got what it wanted. The county council voted 5-2 to abate the property and real estate taxes for a $52 million facility that is already under construction on West Vernal Pike.
