His latest venture turned Thom Blake from a businessman to an eco-preneur.

Besides leading a company that owns northeast Allen County antique shops and manufactures retail fixtures, Blake has built a 10-state network of 60 solar energy system dealers in less than three years. His Harlan-based distributorship, Solar Usage Now LLC, is just one of the local companies encouraging residents to use renewable energy to heat their homes.
