Subaru sales down from big August, but beat September 2008

Although the results pale in comparison to August, the sale of Subaru vehicles increased last month when measured against September of last year.

A report released Thursday by Subaru of America Inc. shows the company sold 14,593 vehicles in September -- a 1 percent increase over the same month in 2008.
