Companies nationwide, including a Wakarusa manufacturer, have some extra federal money to help them build electric vehicles.
And hopefully they'll spend a large portion of that $2.4 billion on parts from U.S.-based suppliers, said John Cook, operations manager at Dexstar Wheel Co. in Elkhart.
