Daniels touts teamwork in State of the State request

INDIANAPOLIS - With a handful of key initiatives on the line, Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels used his annual State of the State address Tuesday to invite Democrats to the table, stressing collaboration during a legislative process usually marked by partisan rancor.
