Bauer says his party to remain in Illinois over weekend despite possible fines

INDIANAPOLIS – Despite daily $250 fines issued by Republican House Speaker Brian Bosma on Thursday, don't expect House Democrats to return to business Monday when the House is next scheduled to be in session.

"The atmosphere is suddenly as hostile as when we left, so it's very doubtful," said House Democrat Leader Patrick Bauer on coming back that day. "We thought there was improvement, but obviously not."
