East Allen County Schools closing six elementaries to save $6.8 million annually

NEW HAVEN – The East Allen County Schools Board voted 6-1 Tuesday to approve a district redesign that will close six elementary schools and turn Paul Harding High School into a magnet school.

Details of the plan, including where students will go during the transition phase, will be voted on at a later board meeting.
