Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute predicts state tax increase coming

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fiscal Policy Institute released a report Thursday detailing the fiscal woes the state faces going into a new budget-writing session and strongly hinted at the possibility of a tax increase.

John Ketzenberger, president of the group, said the state will have a $1.3 billion structural deficit going into the fiscal year 2012-13 budget.
