Jobless fund plan put forth in Indiana General Assembly

INDIANAPOLIS – Businesses in the state would see smaller-than-expected tax increases, and some Hoosiers would see their unemployment benefits cut as part of a plan to address Indiana’s mounting unemployment insurance debt.

The changes are in House Bill 1450, which is written by Rep. Dan Leonard, R-Huntington, and receives a hearing today.
