After receiving approval from the State Budget Committee on Tuesday, Purdue University is moving forward with several ongoing renovation projects.

The state committee approved the use of $8.5 million -- mostly from gifts and state repair and rehabilitation funds -- for projects, which include a library remodeling in the Krannert School of Management, renovations to labs in the Heine Pharmacy Building, electrical upgrades to the Wetherill Laboratory of Chemistry and a laboratory renovation in the electrical engineering department.
