Allen County Council approves next step toward new $316 million jail

Funding plans for a new Allen County Jail estimated to cost $316 million continued to move forward Thursday.

The Allen County Council approved 4-3 the next step needed for a bond agreement to pay for the jail to be built at 2911 Meyer Road.
