INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Department of Transportation has moved to identify 30 projects valued at $44.5 million that may be paid for through federal stimulus package funds. According to an INDOT press release, the projects are located in 24 Hoosier counties, including Jackson, and they represent a variety of work.
In Jackson County, one project is listed as U.S. 31, 4.11 miles, North Indiana 250, concrete pavement patching. Another project, listed under "various" counties in the Seymour District, but including Jackson, cites U.S. 31, Indiana 56 to Indiana 250, asphalt overlay, preventive maintenance.
