Warsaw in dark on deep Medtronic cuts

Fort Wayne - A Minnesota-based medical device maker that employs about 600 people in Warsaw plans to eliminate up to 1,800 jobs worldwide, the company said Tuesday.

"I don't have any specific details on the impact this may have on Warsaw at this time," said Chuck Grothaus, a spokesman for Medtronic Inc.
