Allen County home building in November 2008 up as sales dip

Mounting concerns about the recession caused Allen County's existing-home sales last month to drop 36 percent compared with last November, according to local Realtors.

But homebuilders prepared to start work on more houses, obtaining permits to build 32 percent more homes last month than they did in November 2007.
