Ball State University faculty sends broadband proposal to Congress

MUNCIE -- Ball State University is hoping to join President Barack Obama in jump-starting the economy.

The university's Digital Policy Institute has developed a plan to bring broadband Internet to rural areas that would immediately create 200,000 jobs throughout the country.
