REYNOLDS -- In October 2007, VeraSun Energy's plan for a 110-million gallon ethanol plant near this White County town was put on hold. The company cited unfavorable market conditions.
Then this past fall, the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy amid the credit crunch and global economic recession.
Still, efforts to make Reynolds live up to its moniker -- BioTown, USA -- have not been given up.
