Fort Wayne City Council on Thursday approved annexation of 728 acres previously part of New Haven. The designation will become final in 30 days unless neighboring residents are able to successfully appeal the decision on technical grounds.
The land is being eyed by a Fortune 100 company that wants to build a massive data center there but wants the property to be within city limits.
