Finally, things are looking up for General Motors Corp.
The automaker, which only emerged from bankruptcy in July, announced Tuesday that it will add 60,000 vehicles to its production schedule through the end of the year. Better-than-expected sales of GM cars and trucks means that shifts are being added and laid-off workers are being called back to some GM plants, and overtime is being added at others.
