Goshen-based Supreme Industries reports net loss of $3.1 million for 2008

Goshen-based Supreme Industries Inc. reported a net loss of $3.1 million, or 22 cents per share, in 2008 compared with net income of $4.2 million, or 30 cents per share, in 2007.

The company posted a fourth-quarter loss of $2.9 million, or 20 cents per share, down from net income of $900,000, or 6 cents per share, a year ago.

Supreme Industries manufactures specialized truck bodies, special-purpose shuttle-type buses, armored vehicles, homeland-response vehicles and luxury motorcoaches.
