INDIANAPOLIS - Keeping your unemployment benefits could become more difficult under several provisions being discussed in the legislature as part of a plan to bring Indiana's unemployment insurance system back to solvency.
House Bill 1379 contains the overhaul, which includes requiring those on unemployment to apply for three jobs every week and deems jobs that pay significantly less than a person's prior employment as "suitable."
