Initial study shows 240-job gain for northeast Indiana area in 2008

When the dust settled, northeast Indiana added roughly 240 more jobs than it lost last year, according to a snapshot of economic activity released late Thursday.

The Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership included numerous caveats with its report, however, casting doubt on how fully the study reflects 2008 job gains and losses in the 11-county area.
