Most workers at General Motors Corp.'s Allen County assembly plant seemed to accept Wednesday that they'd have to make further concessions to keep their jobs.

An estimated 2,000 members of United Auto Workers Local 2209 attended a session at Memorial Coliseum to learn and ask questions about a tentative agreement their leaders reached with GM.

The pact is intended to cut costs for GM, which faces a Monday deadline to show the federal government it can become profitable in exchange for continued taxpayer loans.
