Northeast Indiana Region lags price jump for Indiana farmland

Farmland prices statewide set another record this year, but northeast Indiana saw smaller gains than other regions.

Purdue University's annual land values survey found local land values rose between 10 percent and 12.1 percent, depending on the land's productivity, during the year that ended in June. Statewide, the average increase was between 13.5 percent and 15 percent. The survey results were released Tuesday.
