After hearing glum financial news from the state budget office, Indiana University President Michael McRobbie brought to IU trustees Friday a recommendation he set in motion in October - freezing the salaries of the university's senior administrators.
The one-year salary freeze is one of several possible salves the university could apply to ease the pain of the local and national financial downturn.
