Possible Fort Wayne, Allen County overhaul still on table

A week after Gov. Mitch Daniels and former Gov. Joe Kernan traveled to Fort Wayne to lobby for support for local government changes, a bill containing them died in the House.

But that doesn't mean all efforts to change local government are dead. Fort Wayne and Allen County officials had planned to meet this week to talk about possible changes - before scheduling problems delayed the meeting likely until April.
