RV manufacturer Fleetwood lays off 170 more at Decatur plant

Days after it filed for bankruptcy, Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. on Friday furloughed 170 workers at its Decatur RV plant. A spokeswoman called the move a "permanent layoff" and she couldn't say when - or whether - the workers would be called back.

The cuts bring the Fleetwood workforce in Decatur to 450. More than 1,000 worked there a year ago.
