Warsaw company boosts production

Spartech Corp. has installed two new equipment lines to boost capacity at its Warsaw plant.

The expansion is intended to increase production of the company's Royalite sheet product and add capacity to produce rigid PVC for storm doors, bathtubs, shower stalls and tanning-bed covers, according to a company statement.

Eric Lattanner, Spartech Royalite product manager, said in the statement the new lines also will allow the company to build its customer base.

"The move to expand the Warsaw facility strategically positions Spartech to seize opportunities in growth markets and ensure the company's future success," Lattanner said in the statement.

Spartech's corporate headquarters is in Clayton, Mo.
