Fort Wayne community leaders form action-filled plans to increase Citilink public transit

Community leaders have big ideas for how to expand public transit in Fort Wayne, and they worked Friday to determine how they can achieve those goals this year.

About 30 workshop participants spent 3½ hours at Fort Wayne Metals to discuss strategies for expanding Citilink’s services to complement workforce needs. Jennifer Hunter, co-founder and CEO of Gensyn Design, said the workshop asked participants to explore their existing assets to find opportunities that will help them execute plans with what they already have.
