$17 million building deal passes Fort Wayne City Council 6-3

The Fort Wayne City Council approved financing Tuesday to buy Renaissance Square, allowing Mayor Tom Henry to meet his goal of acquiring the building by the end of the month.

The council voted 6-3 in support of borrowing about $17.3 million for the building, renovations and other costs.
