INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana House members took note of a Ball State University survey that says Hoosiers want property taxes capped.
"There is no question that a (constitutional amendment to cap property taxes) will get a fair hearing on the House floor," said Rep. Dennis Tyler, D-Muncie, a member of the House Ways and Means Committee that voted overwhelmingly Monday to send the measure to the full House in January.
