MUNCIE -- At the end of a forum Wednesday on how Ball State plans to cut its budget, the audience asked only two questions and then applauded President Jo Ann Gora and Vice President Randy Howard.
Gora interpreted the reaction as relief over the fact that she is not proposing salary cuts, furloughs, elimination of academic programs or a tuition increase.
