Intersections with signals top lighting priority in Muncie street light shutdown

MUNCIE -- If Muncie really does go dark come Jan. 1, the few remaining streetlights will be clustered around intersections with traffic signals.

Muncie officials this week announced that budget cuts would force the city to shut off 85 percent of overhead street lights, much more than previously expected.
