Monroe County unemployment continues below state level for December 2009

Indiana's unemployment rate increased slightly in December, according to figures released today by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.

Indiana's preliminary seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for December increase 0.3 percent to 9.9 percent. The national unemployment rate remained unchanged in December at 10 percent.
