In anticipation of wind turbines eventually springing up in Tippecanoe County, commissioners gave initial approval Monday to a fee schedule and more regulatory details in the county's wind energy code.
The changes to the county's existing Wind Energy Conversion System further outline requirements for large system developers.
Under the new code, developers would have to sign an economic development agreement with the county, said county attorney David Luhman.
