Tippecanoe School Corp. recalls 35 of 150 laid-off teachers

Tippecanoe School Corp. will recall 35 of the 150 teachers laid off in April, officials announced Friday.

Superintendent Scott Hanback said specific teachers who will be called back -- their contracts were canceled as part of a reduction in force -- have not been determined. Who is chosen will depend on what subjects or grade levels are needed and the laid-off teachers' seniority and certification.
