Fort Wayne, Allen County launch consolidation discussions

Almost no political topic in Allen County spurs such strong and varied reaction as government consolidation.

Since at least the 1960s, the thought of combining Allen County and Fort Wayne governments has been debated, doubted and demonized. But mostly, the idea has died.
