Large-scale government reorganization seems unlikely for Delaware County

MUNCIE -- The next step in government reorganization for Delaware County will be combining city and county building and zoning inspections and enforcement.

A large-scale consolidation of political subdivisions -- including local governments, schools and other tax districts -- won't happen soon because of opposition from local lawmakers.
