INDIANAPOLIS -- A key Senate Republican released a road funding bill Thursday that would send $418 million to cities, towns, counties and other municipalities.
Allen County would reap more than $5 million and Fort Wayne would get $7.7 million under Sen. Brandt Hershman's (R-Buck Creek) proposal.
Gov. Mike Pence has endorsed the plan but it isn't a part of his original transportation agenda for the 2016 session.
