Greater Lafayette officials D.C.-bound to lobby for slice of stimulus pie

The recession and the economic stimulus plan are cause-and-effect factors that dominate what Greater Lafayette Commerce hopes to accomplish this week during its annual trip to Washington, D.C.

"This is a crucial time to make sure the outcome of the stimulus package makes its way to state and local governments," said Mark Davis, a member of the Greater Lafayette Commerce Federal Government Committee. "It is the time to be there."
